Safety first
If you live in an area where Halloween is busy, make sure your cat is safe indoors. Frequent pacing and unusual noises can stress your cat.
Safe decorations
Avoid decorations that are dangerous to cats, such as exposed electrical wires or small parts that your cat could swallow. Opt for decorations that are safe for animals.
Suits or not?
If you choose to disguise your cat, make sure the costume is comfortable and does not constrain him. Some cats don't like costumes, so always respect their tolerance.
Reduce stress
Use calming pheromones or create a calm space where your cat can retreat if the Halloween festivities become too stressful for him.
